  1. It’s embarrassing to be Norwegian with people like that.

  2. Do they have documentation for the denial of entry which states he admitted to drug use?

  3. He likely didnt admit to any such thing. Especially as a norwegian. Here smoking marijuana is punished harder than rape or even murder in some cases. Here in Norway you can even be punished for it if they find marijuana in a blood test. Like how snoop dogg was punished for it when he was in Norway. We know not to be cavalier about that sort of thing even if he had smoked weed at some point he would likely keep schtum.

  4. They probably planted the weed on him and wouldn’t let him go until he signed a “confession.”

  5. If you read the original article, he never claimed that he was barred from the country over a JD Vance meme.

He said that there were two pictures on his phone that they found problematic, the picture of JD Vance and a picture where he was holding a pipe he had made in carpentry class at school.

That people focused on the first and ignored the second can’t be his fault.

They can both be true. He was confronted with the picure of the vice president but ultimately barred entry because of what they interpreted as drug use.

  6. > Fact check: FALSE

No sources or anything? So, It’s Hearsay then?

While CBP is a government body and should hold more credibility than a single individual i find it hard to believe a simple Tweet saying “Nu-uh”.
And far too easy to believe they’re trying to cover their ass from this embarrasment.

Let’s be real, it’s easier to believe Donald himself called up CBP and laid into them about their fuck up than it is to believe that they DIDN’T drum up a weed allegation. It’s like Americas favorite pasttime.

  7. According to Nordlys, they also had him registered as Spanish, immigrant, and visiting family in the US.

  8. Regardless of Trump, I would believe US border authorities over an individual. Now the norwegian police will investigate and charge him because that is how Norway is.
