  2. Pretty awful stuff. It’s interesting that the Scottish Government/Parliament often apologises for things that happened before it existed, meanwhile the Scotland Office, who held responsibility back then, don’t make a peep.

    Granted the First Minister is the elected leader of the country, but you’d think the actually government office responsible would have something to say.

  4. My 3 year old had an altercation with another kid at nursery. After a stern chat, we agreed she needed to say sorry. She was upset about it.

    “I don’t want to, can you do it for me?”

    No, I said. It doesn’t mean anything if I do it for you. Either you say sorry, or John Swinney does it. That’s your only option.
