Ukraine will be the first country to receive Ermine buggies made by Rheinmetal and funded by the Netherlands. This new platform is supposed to be modular and can be adapted to multiple needs of the Ukrainian army

  1. These look cool as heck! I’d love to see some varying iterations of them. Let’s go Nederland!

  2. Ukraine out here unlocking NATO perks like it’s New Game Plus

  3. I like how every six months to a year Ukraine starts adopting tactics and equipment we all just finished shitting on Russia for using. I.g. Chinese buggies and ATVs.

I’m gonna have a fucking aneurysm if Oshkosh announces its tactical bird scooter along side the D-1 donkey transportation system.

  4. Lots of visibility and maneuverability to operate the shotgun.

  5. So now Ukraine gets electric carts as well? People laughed back when Russia started to use them.

  6. My thing is (not extremely educated on all transportation used/fielded.), if the Russians have had little to no success using buggies, loafs ladas and dirtbikes, why would ukraine try to field essentially the same things?

  7. Ukraine leveling up with that next-gen gear, respect the grind

  8. I’m assuming these will have some type of drone, bullet and shrapnel protection for the brave men manning them?

  9. The Rheinmetal website “The system can be used in an unmanned ground vehicle” (sic).

Hopefully they’re not using these for front-line combat in any other way. Don’t look like they’d be able to carry much gear for them to be a useful logistics vehicle.

  10. They can be remote controlled. Its a modular system consisting of three base variants: Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV), Side-by-Side-Buggy and Quad. They all share the same base platform. According to Rheinmetall, they will be used for evacuation of wounded soldiers.

  11. Full scale war opening act: *”we found some leftover Russian equipment for you”*

Full scale war current act: *”could you please test this brand new system?”*

  12. This looks an awfull lot like an ATV and extended chinese golf cart. We all have seen the Ukranian vids.. hopefully my worries are unwarrented and they dont get that close to the the battlefield.

  13. Raise your hand if you would rather have this than a Chinese DesertCross 1000.

  14. This is ppl paying extra for cheaper shit that already exists.

I am all for supporting the UAF but man this is not what i want the funds to go. How about supplying them normal ATVs and 4v4s ?
