Pervert who live streamed sick attack on teenage girl allowed to walk free from court

1. A 15-year-old girl who was groomed online was later videoed being sexually abused in the back of a van. One of her abusers posted on social media “Gang Bang Out Here” as the incident took place.

   The vile episode happened at night in Rivington, a popular beauty spot on the West Pennine Moors, near Horwich, Bolton. Today three men were sentenced for sexual offences against the victim.

   At Liverpool Crown Court, Micahel Linfoot, Callum Hesketh, and Thomas Rae, all from Chorley, were each allowed to walk free from court after being given suspended sentenced.

8. They all got suspended sentences and this was the statement from the police…. “Detective Constable Robert Booth said: “Thanks to the bravery of the victim in coming forward and putting her trust in us, we were able to bring these men to justice.” Trying to understand what justice is these days.

10. If a law is not enforced, it’s not a law. If crimes are not punished, they’re not crimes. We’ve already effectively decriminalized theft and burglary. Are we really decriminalizing rape too?

    All these bullshit platitudes about how they hope she has a sense of justice and how she was so brave. For what? She went through the horror or reliving all of it, going through invasive medical examinations, and for what? So the men who hurt her can be out there walking around, now potentially with a need for revenge? So they could get a slap on the wrist and no jail time? Insanity.

    The laws view on these crimes against women is a fucking disgrace. No wonder some women are scared to come forward with shite like this.

17. Judges are letting abusers off far too often. They should be sacked and jailed themselves

18. Is there an option for the sentence to be reviewed. Such as a request/order by the home secretary?

    Because this is absolutely unacceptable letting people walk out of court for a heinous crime like that. The fact they posted the video online to brag about it too just adds another level of horror.

    I truly hope there is something that can be done. Write to MP’s, petition to force the issue to be reviewed in Parliament, just something because if we are truly at the point of letting something this heinous happen without even any steps to remove these criminals from the street then we are truly in a horrible place.
