The United States Women’s National Team continues its summer tour of friendlies on Thursday night against the Republic of Ireland.

The Americans have been playing well for the most part during this time, as many of its star players are in great shape amidst the National Women’s Soccer League season. Since their stunning loss in the final match of the SheBelieves Cup to Japan, the U.S. split a pair of friendlies with Brazil April before beating China 3-0 on May 31. They then hammered Jamaica, 4-0, back on June 3.

The only notable omission of this roster for upcoming matches is players who are coming off the grind from their respective European leagues, and need the deserved rest. That gives a few young faces, like Sam Meza and Jordyn Bugg, their first call-ups to the national team.

Ireland is playing for the first time since wrapping up the UEFA Women’s Nations League season, going 5-0-1 in Group B2, earning a spot in the promotion playoffs this coming October.

Team USA and Ireland will also meet again this coming Sunday in Cincinnati.
