But why not rubber stamp what is happening? We are supporting Ukraine with eye watering sums of money, and long may it continue, so what fundamental difference would it make for Ukraine to be in the EU?
Maybe it would embolden Russia, but they are already sabotaging, assassinating, and trying to destabilise Europe anyway. Maybe instead it might cause them to back off. They can’t win this fight with the world supporting Ukraine. Their only hope is to find a way for that support to be cut.
Let’s show them it isn’t going to happen so they can… calibrate their enthusiasm for this particular war of aggression. Calibrate it into the bin.

I hate this Piece of S*it and the Slovak one just as much as I hate Putler. The European Union should take decisions based on the vast majority , not based on all having to agree to something. We’re too many countries for all to agree, maybe having % for decisions should be the norm.
