The PBS kids show “Wild Kratts” has explored oceans and jungles to teach children about wildlife. Now, it’s headed to the bayou.
Lead brother duo Chris Kratt and Martin Kratt are bringing action and science on their North American stage show tour, “Wild Kratts LIVE! 2.0” The New Orleans Orpheum Theater gets a visit with a show on Nov. 12, and Lafayette’s Heymann Performing Arts Center joins the fun on Nov. 14.
Ticket sales started Friday morning through Ticketmaster.
Since 2011, the Kratt brothers have taught children the significance of wildlife, from bumblebees to cheetahs. Every half-hour episode begins with an introduction from the live action duo, soon turning into their animated selves as they explore different biomes and morph into animals.
“Wild Kratts LIVE! 2.0” is a 90-minute stage show, including a 20-minute intermission.
VIP tickets will also be on sale, allowing holders to attend a Kratt Brothers meet and greet 15 minutes after the performance. Fans receive an autographed color photo and can take quick family photos with their cameras.
