How many of these countries would you classify as not being a tax haven or petro state?
Shouldnt Monaco be there somewhere?
Not a surprise with USD value dropping.
The Norwegian krone has seen better days but the USD is having it even worse. (Just visited as an American, stuff in Norway definitely was more expensive for me than last summer)
hah now compare median income!
Norways non oil gdp per capita is around 67 thousand, and the USAs is 85. Surprisingly oil is only 22% of Norways GDP, another 25% being public sector which relies heavily on taxation from oil revenue.
Considering that the US has over 340 million inhabitants, it is very impressive how big their gdp per capita is. There are only microstates and smaller countries with sub 10 m over and under.
