Yesterday, it was Zara Tindall who took first place in a stunning black and white Laura Green ensemble with a towering striped wide-brim headpiece worn perfectly to the side, while Princess Beatrice of York oozed British summer-chic in a canary yellow floral number from Monique Lhuillier. Elsewhere, Jerry Hall commanded attention in an all-white tailored look, and Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, kept it fresh in a shirt emblazoned with garden bouquets.

Earlier in the week, it was Alizee Thevenet alongside mother-in-law Carole Middleton who had the fashion crowd stopping in their tracks. Thevenet opted for a soft mint gingham collared design, which she paired with a matching plumed headpiece, while Middleton oozed grande dame gorgeousness in a lace dress in the colour of the season, butter yellow.

The Duchess of Edinburgh led the way for the Ascot best-dressed revellers within its hallowed grounds on day one. Arriving in a delicate petal-adorned lace gown from Marylebone atelier, Suzannah London, the royal style idol was a shining example of stylish sophistication as she paired the piece with a glorious peach rose-adorned millinery marvel from Jane Taylor and a coordinating bag from the Archduchess of Austria’s eponymous accessories line, Sophie Habsburg.

Beaming in summer-ready beauty, the Duchess was joined in the Royal Enclosure by Fiona Howden, chatelaine of the Cornbury Park Estate, herself dressed in a floral tea dress, a statement Sonia Petroff belt and towering gold platform sandals, as they posed for pictures with Fiona’s husband, David Howden.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice of York looked glorious in a pastel pink gingham ensemble, and Zara Tindall opted for a dusky blue collared shirt dress and pink accessories.

We’re almost at the end of this year’s event with just a few more days to go, but we’ve already seen a glorious display of raceday sumptuousness. See below the Royal Ascot best dressed guests of 2025 so far…
