If you want to be real it’s because they’re all rich, almost entirely white, and Christian and the idea of anyone not them being their “equal” disgusts them so they keep everyone down as much as possible. I’m old enough to remember when they were a “big tent party”. Now it’s “only certain types of white people”
Basically they’re racists at heart.
They are afraid that someone will get something that they can’t have.
I keep thinking about how, when I was growing up, every Republican talked about “growing the pie” so that everyone’s slice would be bigger each year. Reducing taxes was sensible because the “economic pie” would get bigger so even a smaller tax percentage would still be enough to pay for the government.
Quietly, all that has changed. Now it’s all about mine vs. yours. Ours vs theirs.
It’s just racism guys. “Why do they make policies that hurt people??” Racism, that’s why. MAGA and republicans absolutely LOVE socialism… as long as it goes to people they feel are worthy of it aka white people. We would have the worlds most well funded welfare state if it only applied to white people.

I believe the rich see as slaves, a necessary evil required for labor. At this time, they are taking multiple actions to reduce our population, because they will need less slaves due to AI and automation. Forced birth policies will ensure a supply of new slaves coupled with education reforms and mandatory religious indoctrination to ensure those slaves grow up being compliant.

Are you actually losing rights as in Human Rights because someone can challenge that
We label things rights so often that are just things we enjoy so I find it is always best to clarify rights under a Constitution or Charter, it gives your point a solid foundation

Rights don’t matter. Only money for the wealthy.
They don’t hate our rights and freedoms. They hate LIBERALS/DEMOCRATS. Their hatred for anything left wing drives them. They have no platform except to piss off liberals. Their first thought of the day is “what can I do to piss off a liberal”. They would kill all liberals if they could get away with it. Until the democrats and everybody else that are not right leaning figure this out, nothing is going to change. And until the democrats start fighting fire with fire and standing up to these assholes, they will continue to lose. Republicans are mean assholes. The Dems need to learn how to be mean to them. Taking the high road doesn’t work.
Because they want to oppress and rule over a nation of serfs who blindly follow thier orders.
This is the same war we have been fighting for thousands of years. Nothing has changed except the year.
What usually happens when empires go into decline. The imperial entity turns inwards. Protectionism and corruption become rampant. Civil liberties are curtailed or suspended. A scapegoat(s) is identified and all the ills of the once great empire are the fault of it. There becomes an obsession of the past being great, and hankering to return to the values of the past, while disregarding the negative aspects of the past.
Read some history, things are repeating, in short is a power grab and the 2A proved useless. So the next democracy needs to take notes, less guns more education.
Because they love getting more money and power for themselves.

We need to change our text books to reflect the way our Supreme Court views our government ie from a system of check and balances to one where the president is a completely unaccountable king and our Congress and judicial system is mostly impotent and useless.
Because they make it more difficult to screw you over.
