If you’re visiting or new in the Czech Republic and don’t have a Czech phone number, you might’ve noticed it’s hard to use a Tesco Clubcard — which means you’re missing out on a lot of discounts (some items are half price with the card).

I found a workaround: I use a digital Clubcard that anyone can scan from their phone — no app, no Czech SIM, just scan and go. It works for tourists and expats without hassle.

If you want to try it, I made a version that works instantly — happy to share it with anyone who wants to save money, just DM me or reply here.

(Yes, I get a few CZK in rewards if it’s used — not enough for a beer, but enough for motivation to share it with more people.)
This has helped a lot of newcomers avoid overpaying at Tesco, so I figured I’d pass it on.

  1. not so fun fact, tesco accounts are country specific and tesco can and did ban my SO’s slovakia account when he tried to make czech one, no reason given, just straight up banned upon creating the acc. wild. (or maybe it was the other way around? he had czech and svk one got created and immediately banned?)

either way these registrations are hell so i also recommend this way for tourists 🙂
