‘Arrogant’ Amy Coney Barrett buried over ‘out of bounds’ personal attack

1. If by arrogant you mean spot on then the headline is right

2. I’m betting Barrett did that so the right wing whack jobs that have been threatening her lately will back off.

3. Barrett ripped Jackson. “We will not dwell on Justice Jackson’s argument, which is at odds with more than two centuries’ worth of precedent, not to mention the Constitution itself,” wrote Barrett.

   In other words, it is unnecessary to consider whether Congress has constrained the Judiciary; what matters is how the Judiciary may constrain the Executive. Justice Jackson would do well to heed her own admonition: ‘[E]veryone, from the President on down, is bound by law,’” Barrett continued.

   “That goes for judges too.”

   Yeah, it’s clear Jackson’s arguments were not grounded in the Constitution, or Case Law. Jackson is unqualified.

4. She got her feelers hurt by Justice Brown-Jackson’s scathing dissent.

5. I think she’s too busy soaking up the resounding conservative wins at this time. Bye-bye national injunctions. This is a great win for law and order.

6. Barrett is a DEI hire.
