Remember jingle Jim’s? Fuck they were the good old days. The free fall which felt like it was 100 foot high, the ball pit. All us 80s & 90s kids sweating our nappers off and running around like feral brats, those were the days!

Oh my goooddddddddd. Core memory unlocked here. The only time I worked up the courage to do the free fall, I smacked my head off it at the top.
And the snake slide!!
*Jungle Jims
Jetcentre Coleriane had a big slide like this too
Mowgli’s in Bangor, seemed the size of an aircraft hangar when you were 6
Jungle Jim was the place to be, I can still smell the plastic balls.
It’s no Dreamworld though
You weren’t allowed on the free fall if you were wearing a shell suit, which at the time was a bit of an issue.
I think most towns had a place like this in the 90s, probably not as big as the seaside but decent enough.
I remember this as a wain! 6 or 7, summer scheme took us. Was shit-scared to go down it! Boked on the way home! Good times!
I used to be so scared to go down that thing as a kid. Eventually I figured that if Indiana Jones himself could plummet 30,000 feet onto the side of a mountain in a rubber raft, I could go down the slide.
Does anyone remember that place over on Boucher? Dreamworks or something? It was awesome too. I think I only went once but it was the best day ever.
Don’t forget getting your socks wet from the carpet, of all flooring choices, at the water jet cannons. The snake slide was mint too, I remember it had a fake tunnel painted about halfway down like in a cartoon.
Jungle Jim’s and the Sportsbowl in Ballymena. Sorely missed.
When I was studying in England, they had a version of Jungle Jim’s on steroids, and they let adults hire it out and even provided alcoholic slush puppies. Was ridiculously fun!
We had “Adventure Land” in Cork City and exactly the same as you have put it 😂👍🏻 the drop on the slide did feel like it was 100ft!

Spent a bit of time working in a place on Boucher road that I can’t recall the name of.(Anyone remember it ?)
That slide. After hours we used to launch ourselves off it, push too far out and bam straight drop and a bruised coccyx!
Oooft, memories of Indianaland and Gulliver’s Kingdom unlocked!
The fun factory. Torquay.
I bloody loved that place, had several birthdays there!
What’s the modern equivalent!?
I must’ve been about 10 and we were out for a friend’s birthday at one of these places and I thought the ball pit would be “deep”, at least deep enough to dive into it like it was a swimming pool.
Dove in, cracked my head, messed up my neck, bit of blood, ball pit closed, lots of angry kids and one dumbass kid with a massive lump on his head.
