On Wednesday, June 27, 2025, the U.S. Commercial Service at the U.S. Embassy Prague, in collaboration with Kimmeridge/Commonwealth LNG and MET Group, hosted a pivotal event: the U.S. LNG Forum. This gathering brought together leaders from both sides of the Atlantic to underscore the vital role of American Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in bolstering Europe’s energy security.
The forum kicked off with opening remarks from Commercial Counselor R. Taylor Moore. Following his insights, attendees heard presentations from Arlene Fetizanan, U.S. Department of Energy Attaché, and MET Group’s Luis Sánchez and Pavel Balada.
A dynamic expert panel discussion, also moderated by R. Taylor Moore, featured key figures including representatives from MET Group, Petr Bihnack (Deputy Director General for Energy at the Ministry of Industry and Trade), and Vladimír Čermák (Senior Manager at Net4Gas).
American LNG is crucial for strengthening Europe’s energy resilience. U.S. LNG is more than a resource – it’s a strategic partnership based on trust and shared values.
