  1. Infographic designed for Wales but the guidance is still good! Try to also keep on top of electrolytes as well as water – fruit juice and a salty snack is a good source for most healthy people and all you need.

Keep a very close eye on babies/young children and elderly folks as well. They might not be able to tell you that they’re not feeling well. If they seem lethargic or confused, call NHS 111.

  2. Heat exhaustion can come out of nowhere. It happened to me on holiday a week ago. I couldn’t drink enough water to combat the sweating, then threw up.

I was fine later on, even in hotter temperatures. Take care of yourselves.

  3. also for guys – if you have “Betty Swollocks” and it feels like velcro when adjusting, it’s probably best to go indoors for a wash.

  4. Campaign to have summer uniform in schools. The UK is becoming too hot for the tie and blazer malarkey.

  5. Thank you for sharing this PSA!

I had heat stroke at a music festival years ago. I had no clue, I was so out of it. My friend saw me shivering and asked if I was ok, and I said I was fine, just felt a bit cold. Took me straight to the medical tent and that lovely team sorted me out, bless them ❤️

  6. Noted. If I have a fit and lose consciousness I’ll call 999

  7. I’ve definitely got the headache / dizzy or confused bit. Admittedly that was more due to what was said in the meeting I was just in than to the temperature.
