  2. I think it is a samodiva on a flying deer. It is just one of many depiction of a legend so I doubt you will find explanation via Google

  4. It’s form “Samodivskiyat prohod” is a legend for Krali Marko and his winged horse.

  5. My father wrote this book and I am very proud and happy to randomly stumble upon you people discussing it here! 

    I just asked him and it is indeed a Samodiva on a flying deer.

    The illustrator’s name is Oleg Topalov!
