It looks really cool but I haven't been able to find anything on Google and can't find like a table of contents for the book or anything. Thank you! by marvsup Tags:bulgaria 9 comments The picture is depicting a **samodiva**: a powerful, elemental nature spirit from Bulgarian folklore embodying both the beauty and danger of the wild. I think it is a samodiva on a flying deer. It is just one of many depiction of a legend so I doubt you will find explanation via Google maybe Firebird (Жар-птица) [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firebird_(Slavic_folklore)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firebird_(Slavic_folklore)) It’s form “Samodivskiyat prohod” is a legend for Krali Marko and his winged horse. My father wrote this book and I am very proud and happy to randomly stumble upon you people discussing it here! I just asked him and it is indeed a Samodiva on a flying deer. The illustrator’s name is Oleg Topalov! This is great, is this book it any similar ones translated to English so is can treat them to my kids?? It all boils down to the mythological Black Panther ! Девойката и летящият огнен елен.. всеки българин я знае 😆 Some satanic/pagan myths bullshit….Dont waste your time and read The Holy Bible instead 👍🏻 Comments are closed.
