1. Fuck the monarchy and all but there is a time and place for everything and the palace is not the place for crocs

2. I think GBNews are inventing the idea that he was visibly stunned. I’ve only seen stills though, and in those KC is looking Tracey Emin in the eye (as he has been rigorously trained to do from an early age)

   Both artists are iconoclasts, so not surprising they wear something unusual. Though I didn’t expect something as naff as crocs from either

5. Crocs are beach, kitchen and garden shoes. Not for meeting the king. There are plenty of comfy options.

6. I doubt he was really that bothered. Camilla looks like she’s wearing some pretty non-formal shoes herself, although at least closed at the back.

7. I mean, I wouldn’t care. Maybe they have foot or nerve issues and crocs are the easiest and/or most comfortable shoes for them. Who knows.

   My grandmother only wears memory foam sandals because of neuropathy and other side effects from the chemo she had years ago. If she met the king she would literally be wearing socks and sandals lmao.

13. I mean some people wear them for foot support? Idk I don’t judge the shoe choices of older people. Foot issues are really troubling the more up in age you get.
