Its becoming the new normal here. Next year they’ll start having headlines in Spain saying its due to be hotter than the UK
Babsbados
News: it’s hotter in a country during summer than it is in a country during winter.
At least you aren’t in Hull though
It’s different because the heat in the UK is more intense plus we have homes that are built to keep the heat in. Some 34c in the house feels like 38c.
Literal Americans living in the UK admit the heat feels worse over here.
True, but if I was on holiday in Barbados, I could just loaf around all week in a pair of swimming shorts, drinking cocktails, and jumping in the pool whenever I felt like it.
If I do that again here, my boss says he’ll sack me.
So true! The houses here are built to hold heat in!
In the midwest its that on an average day. Last week it was at about 37.7 C before humidity nearly every day
Get an AC and stop making excuses. It’s only going to get worse. You can be proactive now and start slowly introducing it or just hide your red heads in movie theaters all the time 😂 (Scotland a few years back)
“***Hotter In Hull***” sounds like an album released by a Yorkshire Kiss tribute act.
I’d rather not travel to Barbados or the gates of Hull if at all possible.
Is there genuinely anyone who likes this type of heat? I don’t see what anyone gets from it, most people looked pretty uncomfortable.
Humidity, humidity, humidity
Can we go one year without breaking these records?
I’m going to Madeira Friday, 18 degrees!!
” I want to go to Barbados”
“No, we have Barbados at home”
I’m from Scotland. Honestly had to google to make sure it was right there was a heatwave going on. Sounds horrible 🥵
