The Sims is my favourite fantasy RPG, where I can roleplay unrealistic elements of life like having a home, friends, a career and a wife at the same time.
This image reminds me of the Britannica Encycopedia 98 CD-ROM. The pre-cursor to the internet. Plenty of articles, many images and very few videos.
What is it with computer desks now though?
As houses and flats have got smaller, computer desks have got bigger and wider and less tall and much less space efficient!
I’ve got one that’s at least 20 years old that I keep having to patch up and make stronger because I can’t find anything to replace.
All of that just for Runescape and MSN Messenger. Simpler times
