The scouts of the 225th separate assault regiment destroyed an enemy group that was moving towards Sumy. Among the trophies is a knife that used to seem like a legend. (LDC – a special scout knife. A unique development of the 1970s, which was produced at the Tula arms factory. It combines cold steel and firearms in one body)

  1. Never thought I’d see a weapon like that on a front line anywhere – there must be collectors thinking about pliers and their eye teeth right now.

  2. God collectors must be going nuts right now seeing this! Hell, I want one too!

  3. What caliber is the firearm in the handle of the knife ? I wonder how much that’s worth

  4. So for people knowing the Final Fantasy series, it’s basically a Gunblade, but backwards, because Russia.

I guess one of the very few knives where you can literally shoot yourself in your own foot by bringing a knife to a gun fight.😉

But really interesting piece and feels way more sophisticated than your typical 70’s/80’s Russian thing.

  5. This looks rather newish (*no scratches or abbrasions on blade, grip and sheath*), so this is very likely depot hardware from some ex-Soviet military warehouse.

  7. So, is it called “gunife” then or a “knigun”?

  8. Isn’t this the same thing as the “ballistic knives” in Call of Duty?

Finders keepers rule applies during invasion of one’s homeland so enjoy:)

  9. Hmmm I wonder why they stopped issuing these to Russian soldiers

  10. ONLY ruzzia would design a gun where you naturally point the barrel towards yourself by the knife handle. Poetic
