Major UK retailer Clark’s cuts more than 1,200 jobs as high street chaos grows

2. I have no idea what to believe on the economy, yesterday articles was saying the UK achieved decent growth but then there are articles saying factory output has nose-dived and every other article seems to be about job cuts

3. Stopped buying Clarks Wallabee’s from Clarks years ago, you can get them far cheaper almost everywhere else.

4. They need to get new designers. I wanted to get my daughter her shoes from there. Some were ok but the majority are just overpriced and ugly. I don’t want to spend £40 on shoes that look a bit meh.

5. In over 30 years I have never been in a Clarks, couldn’t even tell you if there is still one in our town
