  16. We -as humankind – are doing this to ourselves, unfortunately. All the technologies like bitcoin and AI that burn INSANE amount of energy to simply exist are pushing daily temperatures into overdrive. The oligarchs have the money to shield themselves from the heat, but we don’t. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  22. My fiancee is australian. I have been there in 40+ degrees. It is not the same. I am fine there. The fucking humidity is what gets me at home. Even she is suffering when you’d think she is used to it being toasty. Also our whole infrastructure and way of building isn’t meant for prolonged periods of heat. It’s fucking torture.

  25. Guys, I am Portuguese but live in Germany, I’ve lived through 45 C, but 30 C here does NOT hit the same.

    I walk my dogs at 6 in the morning and the sun is already blazing hot. Send help.
