Hi, we plan to drive in Germany in summer and ordered the environment sticker from Berlin.de, it comes with Berlin on the sticker, does it work in other cities? Thank you!🙏

  1. It “works” in any Umweltzone – these exist mostly in larger cities.

The Berlin “stamp” only means that it was issued in Berlin.

  2. It should match your number plate and as all the others already said: it’s valid in every city

  3. Yes, it will fall off the windshield the moment you leave Berlin.

  4. After reading the comments of my fellow Redditors I’d Like to add this sticker is not only valid in Berlin, but all over Germany!
    Have a nice trip 🙂

  5. The sticker works in every German city, but there are exceptions with diesel cars, es some cities only allow diesel vehicles with certain emission classes.

  6. The Umweltplakette is for all cities, as long as your car has the same license plate

  7. Works in all cities and if you dont have it its also ok. Im german and had my Windshield replaced on my Audi A6 and havent had this Umweltzone Sticker for 4 Years. I regularly drive to Frankfurt, Mannheim, Stuttgart, Köln and Düsseldorf and have not gotten in any trouble. Parking in the streets, Allgemeineverkehrskontrolle (Police inspection) and more and have not been in any trouble or got any Letters in the Mail. Even 3 Times TÜV and they didnt care

Only 1 Month ago i went to the TÜV and paid the 7€ and got a Sticker

I did once drive to Frankfurt with a Diesel PT Cruizer which had a yellow Sticker on it and got a Mail in the Letter and a fine. This was about 7 years ago
