Carpinteria residents Denise and Bill Barker recently visited Cape St. Vincent in the Algarve region of Portugal, snapping a photo with their copy of Coastal View News. “This landmark is the most southwestern tip of Portugal as well as mainland Europe,” the Barkers said. “Portugal is a wonderful country to visit and the people were very friendly and helpful.”
