  8. The fascists in government got what they needed from MAGA voters. They don’t care about them and believe they will hold power indefinitely. I think they’re right.

  9. Here is the point I consider. The GOP is so bad at leadership that this path is their only way forward. 

    They could likely do whatever they wanted as long as they gave people medical care and didn’t destroy all those federal agencies.

    But that’s not what they are doing.

    I’d like to think that history will condem the theft of the product of our tax dollars but the terrible ideas have worse lies trying to get people to let the Rape happen

  19. They won’t care, even if it costs them the life of a loved one. Even the death of a child won’t change their mind. I don’t even think clear cut evidence of Trump sexually assaulting a child would do it. In their mind Liberals are the villain and they’re on the winning side.

    And unless they’ll die, they’ll vote for them again, screaming *harder daddy*. If there will actually be another election featuring more than one party.

    Everybody else, when screaming for different reasons, will get “relocated” by Dear Leader’s masked GeStaPo.

  24. They don’t care. Any of them I’ve spoken to about Medicaid cuts etc. say “liberal fear mongering. It’s not going to happen”. We’ll see.

  32. Here’s my biggest fear:

    Trump/MAGA destroy the economy and ruin the country, causing massive problems across the board.

    The people elect a Democrat next time, with a *very* slim majority in the house OR senate, but not both.

    In that position, the President does everything humanly possible to right the ship. But we’d be in a massive hole. It would take 4 full years to just right the ship and *start* to then guide us back to a positive future.

    But that means in 4 years, things would still not be great. And what will the idiot American voter do? They will say “Democrats promised they’d fix everything, and it’s not great!!! Let’s give Republicans massive majorities across the board again!!!”

    That’s the cycle we get stuck in. Republicans screw everything up, Democrats are given a tiny window of time to *start* to fix things, voters get upset that it’s not fast enough, so they vote the evil conservative cabal back in so they can continue the process of tearing the country apart. (And yes, they are *evil,* not just bad. They gleefully give the wealthy more and more and more, while literally killing the poor in this country. That is a FACT. And that’s just *one* aspect of their evil behavior.)

    That’s essentially what just happened, right? Trump screwed just about everything up and caused havoc in the country. Biden spent 4 years putting out fires, rebuilding systems, rebuilding a foundation, and we were poised to have a bright future. But it wasn’t quick enough, so he (Harris, but the same administration) was ousted, and Trump was put back in to continue to screw us all over.
