Tom Brady is giving fans a rare glimpse of life with his and Gisele Bündchen’s daughter Vivian Lake as the 12-year-old enjoys a father-daughter vacation in Spain. Brady, who split from Bündchen in 2022 after 13 years of marriage, has leaned into co-parenting the couple’s two children together while carving out quality time with his little girl. On Tuesday, July 1, the retired New England Patriots quarterback shared a photo of his “little mermaid” enjoying a swim in the Mediterranean during a summer getaway.
“My little mermaid soaking up the sun and the sea,” he wrote alongside three red heart emojis as he shared an Instagram Story image with his 11.2 million followers of his daughter hanging out in the water. In the photo, Vivian looked like her mom’s mini-me as she smiled and gave the camera two thumbs up while lounging in a colorful inflatable inner tube.

Brady’s latest post comes almost exactly a month after he shared a rare selfie of the pair in a car. Calling his lookalike daughter his “favorite co-pilot,” a white sweatshirt-clad Vivian could be seen behind her dad, who was dressed in butter yellow athleisure.

While Vivian has a lot in common with her mom, including a love of yoga and horseback riding, she and her dad also have a passion for sports in common. Vivian accompanied Brady for multiple outings at the 2024 Olympic Games last August, and she joined brother Benjamin as well as brother Jack (whom Brady shares with ex Bridget Moynahan) at a 2023 Patriots and Eagles football game where their father was honored during halftime.
Brady previously gushed about his close bond with Vivian, telling Entertainment Tonight in 2016, “That little girl owns my day—owns my life. [I] cannot say no to anything. Whatever she tells her dad to do, that’s what I do. That’s just the way it goes.”
