Is there a theory as to why so many Russians seem to be self deleting? Has this always been an unfortunate part of war and we’re just now able to see it up close?
I really have to wonder why they feel this is a better alternative to whatever they’re expecting? Like as far as I’ve seen, the UA has been kind to its POWs unlike the treatment the Russians are giving to their own soldier

But that doesn’t in any way qualify me to judge how much compassion is deserved by a foreign invader, who’s part of an aggressor army that has killed, raped and thieved itself in to another country.

There are **272** recorded instances of Russian soldiers killing themselves on the battlefield, plus 52 maybe’s, 1 monument, 7 mercy kills, 22 implied/found later and 14 cases of Russians intentionally killing Russians. There are 1 recorded instances of North Korean soldiers killing themselves on the battlefield. We went 7 days since the last confirmed instance at time of this example.
