Looks like the roofline of the Great Northern Hotel in the misty distance, the other building could be German Gymnasium?
Is this a view looking North? I’m trying to figure out if those gas holders on the right of the photo are those that are found by the canal today
Excuse me, is this the cart to Manchester?
The trains were so quirky back then
You can see the gas holders that are now circular flats in the right background
Ironically they could build this stuff faster with horses than you can with modern day technology
The columns at the back look like what was built for the beer storage (coming into London from Burton upon Trent). Saint Pancras was always about the booze.
