MPs receive more than £1m in gifts and perks in year since the election

1. Right- now do the Tories in any of the last fifteen years

2. It should be banned for every mp for every party British politics is totally corrupt.

3. Other public servants have to refuse gifts, nurses for example cannot accept more than a card. That should be standard across the board.

4. With Labour having a huge majority, they could pass a law to ban this. Politically speaking, it would be a huge win for them. Reform and Conservatives would complain and look terrible for months.

5. People blaming labour only. Tories did this, in fact started this in the 90’s. Lobbying and asking questions for money

11. It’s no surprise that the MP who declared receiving the most was Nigel farage with £98,709. As he’s the sort of man who’d rather work his side jobs for extra cash than work his elected role in Clacton.
