  1. It’s sad to see a ‘Labour’ government trying to out Tory the Tories.

  2. Starmer is a Tory in a Labour suit.

Problem is there’s zero money, brexits hamstring us and things are getting worse in the world

  3. If you mean a successful power on the world stage, making the UK respected internationally and having a loud clear voice on domestic and foreign policy, and you think that’s Kier Starmer, you are frankly delusional.

  4. You have three choices.

Starmer, x new Tory leader, Farage.

I don’t care for any of them, but the lefts inability to stay united, and get 40% of what they want, is ridiculously consistent.

I bet Farage is absolutely loving all this infighting.

  5. “Everyone says they know someone like Alan, but no one says “I’m like Alan”. Nobody admits to it.”

Fret no longer, Armando. I am like Alan. I just don’t have a broadcast media career.

  6. Probably the dumbest take ive seen in a while. Didnt think a Thatcherite would plan to fund meals for kids or more schools

  7. Well you could ask Partridge who the best James Bond was and he’d always say Roger Moore. Starmer would just say the one most local to where he was at the time.

  8. I think Starmer has a sense of direction and vision which is not ideological, which I see as being in his favour but could be his downfall. What he has in common with Thatcher is the tactic of proposing legislation which is more extreme than needed, then horse-trading within his own party to ensure a majority passage through parliament of a less extreme bill. That could also be his downfall.

  9. If people like Coogan paid their taxes then maybe we would be doing better IDN.

  10. Utter garbage, stick to Partridge.

Does anyone really care what celebrities think about politics? They can out in force for pro-remain and that didn’t work. Came out in force for Kamala, didn’t work

  11. ‘We won’t raise taxes’
Can I just shock you, I like raising taxes, despite what I just said about not doing.

  12. Steve “I’d like to beat up Andrew Tate” Coogan.

  13. Steve, you’re hilarious, but you’re becoming a bit of a knob

  14. I wish people realised it’s the lesser of evils at this point.

The same people screaming about Starmer will usher in the age of Farage and Reform.

Yes, this Labour government has sucked. But Jesus please think of the wider picture. This complacency of ‘there is always a brighter future’ is what led to the current state of the USA.

  15. When’s this new Corbyn party launching? Count me in along with pretty much most people I know who aren’t boomers

  16. Who gives a fuck what Steve Coogan says? He’s a comedian.

  17. Steve Coogans opinions are no more informed or valid than anybody else’s

  18. The snivelling war criminal Keir Starmer currently facilitating the mass slaughter of tens of thousands of children?

I’m shocked! But It’s not as if he is out lawing peaceful protesters and removing rights and freedoms to appease a genocidal state or anything…
