  1. Just like Trump’s policies, Trump’s love for his wife, Trump’s golden ornaments, Trump’s hair, and of course— Trump himself. Being born with money doesn’t give you class nor make you a genuine persona, I’m afraid.

  2. “Money, like, isn’t even real, man. It’s all fake”
    – Big Balls, 2025

  3. This is the face of someone who says, “Watch this!”, and tries to expel gas – only to realize he should not have trusted the fart.

  4. The great tax shift. Our tariffs are never going away. Best way to get the poor to pay more. Consumption tax

  5. What? TacoMan is just making this shit up no Plan. I know, I know they have a Concept of a Plan. Weak Little Man

  6. Of course it is. In the two trade deals completed, we now pay 20% and 50% more on goods. It is a crock of shit.

  7. I’m shocked! Shocked! Well… actually I’m not shocked.

  8. I think the stock market figured that out. They reacted when he first said he would impose tariffs, but they should know by now that T is full of S.

  9. Well he did enrich himself and friends with basically insider trading, but also with getting “bribes” through his crypto market from countries that wanted to reduce their tariffs. It is grift at a level that most of us could never have imagined.

  10. All that matters to DJT is being the lead story. He will do whatever it takes to be the lead story.

  11. A third of America worshiping this buffoon conman is height of stupidity

  12. If the Admin Insider is saying these the Tariffs are all fake; no it’s the f*ck not. This article is fake AF

I’m a global electronics distributor and I’ve been dealing with Tariffs as high as 46%. Yes. 46%. These get passed down to the end customer (like GeForce, PC manufacturers, airlines. Militaries, etc.

Also, We add thousands of parts to the tariffs every week. Tariffs range from 4% to 46%. These are parts globally entering the US

These are very real and the customers have been charged for these for the last 6 to 7 months

  13. The cult is pretty damn stupid but such a big problem

These people are so far gone

  14. It always has been fake. He has one single bargaining move that he uses – lie to get the other party to commit, then extort them because they can no longer withdraw without bigger penalties.

But this move only works with specific limited deals, it doesn’t work with global trade where countries have so many more options. I bet it ate him up when barely any countries came to beg a deal from him.

  15. Even though it may be true that both parties have their issues, I do know that Democrats have far more compassion towards the average American qere as Republicans don’t have any. They could care less for anyone who struggles on a day to day basis.

  16. This is fucking joke to this asshole. It’s all about him ( no surprise but still confirmation)

We need to somehow keep populating this article in hopes all foreign governments see it, read it and take appropriate action.

  17. It’s not fake if it’s actually happening and affecting people and entire countries around the world. There are a lot of words for it, but it’s not fake

  18. What!? The inherited billionaire who has backed ripped every thing he puts his hands and name on doesn’t know how money works?

    “ to be honest, Diane…. i’m surprised.”

  19. I mean: we covered tariffs in high school.

I’m not an economist, but I get that tariffs require a few conditions.

Whatever we’re putting a tariff on needs to be something we can or do make here in quantities that will cover our consumption. If we don’t, then a tariff is just a tax on the importer that will be passed on to the consumer.

Even if it’s something that we consume in high enough quantities that it will hurt the exporter if we stop buying it from them, they’re still not going to lower their prices enough to cancel out the tariff. And that price will be passed on to the consumer.

If we do make it here and can get enough of it without having to import it, we aren’t going to make it as cheaply as countries with significantly lower costs of living and wages, and the difference in manufacturing cost will be — wait for it — passed on to the consumer.

Sure he lied. (It was a day ending in “y,” after all.) But people should have known better.

  20. people were so disgusted with their government over the last 4 decades that this guy got elected twice purely on the basis that he’s here to fuck it up on tv

  21. The headlines are more performance than policy. But it’s not that tariffs don’t exist—they clearly do—but that the deadlines, posturing, and timeline may be more about drama than diplomacy.

  22. The problem is that the “attention economy” has changed and he hasn’t. He is still using Reality Show stunts and outdated social media apps and tactics. Even his supporters are seeing this. His gimmicks are stale. How many “liberation days” will he have? How many more times will he claim an upcoming event or date is the most important event/date in American history?

  23. > In a statement to the Daily Beast, White House spokesman Kush Desai said “the hollowing out of American Main Streets and industries by unfair foreign trade practices is not a theatrical show.” Desai added

Strange, I thought it was far more down to the likes of Walmart and Amazon.
