Hugh Grant in *The Gentlemen*. He certainly looked like he was enjoying himself.
No. Fire me he was a revelation in that role. But in any case when I saw this film at the cinema I laughed almost the entire time. One of the best films I have ever seen. I’m 67.
Role?
My understanding is that he blundered into the set and the cameras were filming the whole time.
Hugh Grant in everything he’s done since they stopped casting him as a floppy British heartthrob
Pedro Pascal in Wonder Woman 84.
He knows he’s in an absolute stinker of a movie and just starts chewing scenery.
Hugh Grant on virtually any bit of his later career when the leading romantic roles have gone, the weight of expectation of carrying films has gone and he just seems to have decided to have fun.
Tîm Curry in The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Gary Oldman playing Jackson Lamb in Slow horses.
Would love to see outtakes of it!
I think all the actors collectively enjoyed their role, hence why the movie works so well and is universally enjoyed.
Tom Curry in Muppet Treasure Island. He owned that film and then some.
Ian McKellen in practically every role, even serious ones, seems like he loves his job beyond measure, but for me, Cold Comfort Farm takes the cake. He’s having a blast.
That said, P2 is a perfect film and HG is delightful in it.
Quentin Tarantino had Selma Hayek toes in his mouth in from dust till dawn
Elton John in the second Kingsman movie.
i feel like john travolta has never been happier or more comfortable than when he played the mum in hairspray
the duet between her and husband christopher walken is so sensual
travolta even requested that his fat suit and dresses be sexier
The man’s a legend
Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean.
Hugh Grant described it as the best film he has been in at the time and I think his obvious enjoyment of what he was doing shines through and makes it something special. His emancipation from his rom com roles have allowed him to show a variety that I had no idea he possessed. I used to see his name on a film and immediately knew what to expect, these latter years have been a revelation.
‘Bad Guy Hugh Grant’ is the best Hugh Grant
Jason Mamoa in whatever the latest fast and furious film was. The film is absolute trash but Mamoa is just having the best time being silly and over the top.
Full on cartoon villain material.
Matt Dillon in Wild Things
henry cavill as geralt
Danny De Vito in *Twins*
Hugh’s officially in his IDGAF era and it’s marvellous
Timothy Dalton in Hot Fuzz
Pierce Brosnan in MobLand looks like he’s having an absolute ball of a time 😂
Pretty much everyone in Hot Fuzz
Chris Tucker in The Fifth Element
Ron Jeremy seems to have more fun in most of his movies..
Yes.
Hugh Grant in The Gentleman
Hugh Grant in Operation Fortune
Hugh Grant in Dungeons and Dragons
Both Nic Cage and Pedro Pascal in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent
Raul Julia in the Addams Family movies. He had to repeatedly kiss Anjelica Huston, smoke massive cigars and wear a sharp suit.
Alan Rickman Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Not a single piece of the set, or supporting actor remained unchewed
Yes. Hugh Grant in Music & Lyrics
If you haven’t seen the 80’s parody music video Pop! Goes My Heart then what are you even doing with your life

Steve Martin in Little Shop of Horrors, seen here decking Miriam Margoyles
Hugh Grant in dungeons and dragons. Hugh Grant in heretic. Hugh Grant in wonka. Hugh Grant in paddington 3. Hugh Grant in the gentlemen.
I feel like Ian McShane has a lot of fun with stuff he does. Olivia Coleman seems to, too.
I will not tolerate the memory of “Two Weeks Notice” being besmirched in any way 🤣
Pierce Brosnan in Mamma Mia. I think him and I were the only ones who thought he did great
Not a film, but John Lithgow (and, indeed the entire cast, but especially him), in 3rd Rock from the Sun.
Raul Julia playing M.Bison. he did the role for his kids while dying from cancer and went full ham and absolutely killed it
