  1. Idk if we lose to Britain but i sure as heck dont feel like a winner

  2. I mean we also fall under his ally section, as when we where founded they guaranteed our independence

  3. Since 1830, the start of Belgium, we’ve only ever fought with the British and never against them. But we have needed them three times: 1830 (they were pro Belgium and against unification with France for example), 1914-1918 (we were only able to fight back thanks to the British in for example the Battle of Mons, Ypres,…) and 1940-1945 (they (and other Allied Powers) liberated us).

Before that? We probably were on the losing side in some Anglo-French or Anglo-Spanish conflict when Spain or France ruled over what is now Belgium. Napoleontic wars: we were part of France and the English won, for example.

But there has never been a confrontation between the Belgian and British army.

  4. Afghanistan. The[1842 retreat from Kabul](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1842_retreat_from_Kabul) from the first anglo-afghani war. They lost that war. And that retreat is horrifying to read. Pretty much the entire column of Major-general William Elphinstone was massacred. 4500 soldiers (700 british and 3700 indian) and their families comprising of 14 000 civilians.

The soviets didnt exactly learned from this lesson as they invaded afghanistan and created their own vietnam war wich contributed to the fall of the USSR.

So yeah if anyone of you ever become like emperor of something…dont invade afghanistan.

  5. We didn’t. The french had a battle with the British in Waterloo. He’s talking about napoleon.

  6. Why is this labelled ´history´? He´s a comedian cracking jokes 🙂

  7. No, but “I think if you create a country out of thin f*cking air, you’ve won”

  8. You could argue our alignment in the Napoleonic wars and the battle in Waterloo

  9. Since 1973, Belgium has used PsyOps on the UK. Through an elaborate system of bureaucracy and paperwork in the EU we have made them insane! The pinnacle of the PsyOps campaign between 2013 and 2016 was to make them retreat.

After they voluntarily signed the withdrawal from the EU, a new PsyOps mission was started to delay their exit. Through meticulous mindgames we slowly made them suggest different exit agreements, each new agreement being less and less beneficial to them.

In January of 2020, the retreat by the UK was completed without sending any soldiers! Without a single bullet being fired! ….Belgium WON!

    ….. clearly /s
