I’ve travelled in and out of Texas for years now, and watched the slow steady decline of organized government, into a cabal of special interests privatizing everything and leaving a mess behind. Driving through Odessa / Midland area now is like driving through a landfill.

7. I had never heard of tornado sirens until I moved where I live now. We had tornadoes where I live before but, during the last tornado here, the siren went off at the same time the alert went off on my phone. I wondered if they had the sirens there, I also wondered why if it’s called the flash flood alley Were they so close to the river with campgrounds and camps? This seems like a lot of this could’ve been avoided this horrible, horrible tragedy. I hope I’m wrong about that.
   They’re denying the climate crisis, yet tornado season is usually beginning in March. We started before January this year in between January and mid June there were 700 tornadoes. Yet they want to phase out FEMA.
