UK to be hotter than Delhi during 10-day super heatwave in 35C Indian Summer

1. How can it be an Indian Summer if it’s hotter than the Indian summer?

2. It’s an ‘Indian Summer’ when a heatwave is out of season, say in October. When a heatwave occurs in the summer we call it ‘summer’.

8. An Indian Summer is a period of warm weather in the autumn. It’s not during July which is just regular summer.

   It also refers to Native Americans as far as anyone can tell. Not Delhi.

   Please don’t fall for the moronic headlines that you see every time there is hotter/colder weather in the UK. They’re always comparing the hottest possible predicted temperature to somewhere that sounds hot but isn’t experiencing its hot season. Dehli isn’t at its hottest, that’s in May.

   Dehli got up to 45.5c a month ago, now it’s cooler.
