There’s just no respite. Starting to feel like we live in a perpetual heatwave punctuated by brief cool days. I know it’s summer but this seems way higher than average. My new build start to become an oven ☹️

  4. Bought an air-con unit a couple of weeks back, best thing I’ve bought in years. It’s taken my flat from being unbearable during summer to somewhere I consistently want to be on a hot day.

    It can also dehumidify so I’m hoping I’ll be able to use the heating less during winter

  5. No, absolutely love it going to have so many bbq’s..we’ve got 8-9 months of shit grey weather once this is over..last summer we were proper robbed of a summer as well..

  9. I bought a portable AC for the bedroom as we have a newborn, and so far it’s been absolutely worth every penny.

    We bought it just before the first bit of hot weather we had, a week later the price had gone up £100 and a week after that they had sold out.

  11. Dream forecast. I can’t wait. Wait all year for this and it’s usually hit and miss so very grateful to get a summer.

Omg I can’t, I’m a fat 54year old menopausal woman who has just developed a fucking allergy to some little fly in the garden that must love my fucked up hormone blood so much that I have 62 red, swollen, itchy like hell bites all over my body and it’s cost a fortune on stuff to stop the itching and now this stupid heat again! It’s fucking stupid heat, the only things that like it are the cunts flying about me garden! I’m so angry, hot and itchy.

  23. As a (very) northern English person (Cumbria like 20 miles south of Scotland) I would genuinely kill to have this weather. I know it’s muggy and sweaty and hard to sleep and everything else but after 2 weeks of around 17c every day and raining on over half of them all I want is tanning, beer garden and fishing weather like this.

  32. Nah it pissed it down with rain today, it was great. But people moan when it’s raining here, yes it’s hot, but it just means we should be more prepared and that’s the issues. The uk isn’t.
