Hapoel Tel Aviv has signed American guard/forward Elijah Bryant (30, 1.96m) and center Daniel Oturu to three-year deals, keeping them with the club through the end of the 2027–28 season.
The new center of the team was selected 33rd in the 2020 NBA draft, played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Toronto Raptors, and the Chicago Bulls G League team.
He began his European career with the Turkish club Merkezefendi in the 2023-24 season. In ten games, he recorded impressive averages of 20.3 points, 9.6 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and 65.2% from the field, and he earned a move to Anadolu Efes in the middle of the Euroleague season.
Last season, he was one of the most effective centers in the EuroLeague, averaging 8.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.0 blocks, and 71.3% two-point shooting in 16.5 minutes per game.
Bryant also arrives from Anadolu Efes, where he spent the past four seasons, winning the EuroLeague title and multiple domestic trophies in Turkey.
Last season was his most productive in EuroLeague play, averaging 13.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game while shooting 36.1% from three.
He previously played for Hapoel Eilat, Maccabi Tel Aviv, and the Milwaukee Bucks.
