The Presidential Sports Club is celebrating its 20th anniversary on July 7th. NOC President Viktor Lukashenko highlighted that since its foundation, the organisation has been making consistent progress by effectively executing a strategy to promote Belarusian sports. He noted that the club’s proactive approach has significantly boosted interest in regular physical education and sports among the younger generation.

The NOC President’s congratulatory message highlights that young athletes are familiar with tournaments like Leather Ball, League of the Brave, Snow Sniper, Golden Puck, White Rook, Ball over Net, and numerous other initiatives that pave the way for aspiring champions in sports. Viktor Lukashenko pointed out that many top Belarusian athletes, who have triumphed in prestigious competitions, have been scholarship recipients from the club over the years. He emphasised that in the last two decades, thousands of boys and girls have received support, enabling them to pursue their dreams, hone their talents, and achieve success in various competitions.

The NOC Head wished the Presidential Sports Club staff inspiration and the fulfilment of the most ambitious plans, “May your efforts continue to motivate and inspire our young, talented athletes to achieve new victories, and may your contributions to the younger generation — the future of our country — enhance Belarus’ standing on the global stage.”
