Industrial production in the Czech Republic grew by 2.2% year-on-year in May 2025 from a 2.0% growth in the previous month and below the market expectations of 3.3%.

This marked the highest reading since December 2022, as output growth accelerated for manufacturing production (1.5% vs 0.9%).

Meanwhile, growth slowed for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (10.9% vs 14.4%), whereas output declined for mining and quarrying (-1.5% vs 7.1%).

On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial activity rose by 1.6% in May, following a 0.9% increase in April.
