For the first time since 2008, more people have emigrated to other EU countries than have moved in from there. This is quite unusual for a rich country like Germany. A decisive factor was the weak influx of people from those same Eastern European countries, the countries of the EU's eastward expansion. This is the culmination of a trend that has been emerging for some time.

"Labour-related migration is also always strongly influenced by the relative situation," says Liebig. "In other words, it's about the situation in the countries of origin compared to Germany, and this has become much more equalised." On the one hand, migration from Eastern European countries has ensured that local unemployment has fallen. At the same time, there has been a strong economic upturn in these countries. "In some of these countries, unemployment rates are now lower than in Germany. We have a real boom there." Economic growth is particularly strong in Poland, while Germany is losing some of its appeal.

  2. Poland needs to fix this issue by increasing the local birth rate, not by importing the third world

    Take a look at most European countries that have massively import many immigrants from third world countries

    Germany is the best example

    And even then the low birth rate doesn’t really improve in most cases

    I’m saying this as a brown person from a third world country

I grew up watching andrej tate content and it worked just be confident I lost my virginity at 15 and been in 3 relationships and I’m 19 years old now , just finished highschool. Even Indians can get Polish gf what is stopping you?

  4. When are people going to realize that this is the new reality? I used to live in rural Mexico where poverty rates were higher, and a lot of the justification for having kids is for them to act as “insurance” in that they’ll be supported by their children during the elderly years. A lot of times it’s to also have more hands to help out with working on the local farm or to help out with chores around the house (many folks didn’t have washing machines nor tractors). It was also like this in many of the first world countries before they obtained higher quality of life.

  7. Yeah… and with Ukraine in the EU we’ll eventually lose them as cheap labour and so the wheel goes, Maciej (piękne kurwa tłumaczenie). Progress happens, and settling down becomes harder with each year which threatens the birthrates
