Just one week after sweltering under 39°C heat that triggered red alerts and school closures, Luxembourg residents face an unseasonably cool Tuesday with temperatures struggling to reach 19°C.
Meteolux reports morning lows of 7–9°C on Tuesday – markedly cold for July – with daytime highs peaking at 17–19°C. Evening temperatures will hover around 15°C.
The day begins with heavy cloud cover and persistent shower potential through late afternoon, according to Meteolux’ forecast bulletin. While clouds will gradually dissipate in the afternoon, the agency cautions residents to keep umbrellas handy.
Wednesday may still see scattered rain showers as temperatures barely surpass 20°C. However, summer conditions will return Thursday through Saturday, with clear skies and temperatures climbing steadily to 28°C by weekend.
