While living in the Uk I picked up some great words and insults, (mainly from my late wife)

So far I have explained

Gobshite
Gormless
Pratt
Muppet
Pillock

Gobshite is my favourite, there’s something wholesomely brutal about British insults

I’m gonna go watch some more blackadder remember more

  15. U would say that expression is more “incredulous”. Gormless is more of a blank, lights are on but nobodys home kind of expression. Think Pvt Pyle.

  16. If you want another word how about antwacky (Scouse got old fashioned).

  17. I hadn’t realised ‘gormless’ was particularly British. What equivalent do you Americans use for the same expression?

  18. Personal favourite is calling anyone ‘You absolute -insert adjective here-‘ and it being absolutely devastating no matter what word you choose
