  8. Hopefully states enact this requirement if the congress fails. We have to do something as the current anonymous law enforcement isn’t OK.

  9. Even if it left Committee, it would die in the House. Even if it passed the House, it would die in the Senate. Even if it passed the Senate, it would die by veto under Trump. Even if it wasn’t vetoed, it wouldn’t be enforced. Even if it was enforced, SCOTUS would rule it unconstitutional. Even if it was ruled constitutional, the agents wouldn’t obey.

    This bill is dead all the way from the start to the end.

    Yeah, sure, I like the idea. Not gonna happen, but it’s up there with Miranda rights as a concept, which in turn is probably slated for phase-out soon.

    Please keep in mind that we are currently past Constitutional law, and we should wield the same degree of leverage against this administration as they do against us, which is to say, protect yourself at any cost.

    Organize in your local communities to fight back. Expand your organizations and protect one another against this complete overreach. The law as we know it is gone.

  37. Truly its for ICE safety, not identifying yourself as ICE/LEO is extremely dangerous, surprised a few ICE agents have not been killed due to being mistaken as a robber/kidnapper.

  42. Sorry, if I can’t identify a police officer by uniform and ID, then they are considered criminals and should be treated as such. This isn’t 1930s Germany or 1970s Cambodia or Chile. All, and I mean all, should be prosecuted, convicted and punished.
