Coinciding with the Common Riding, a new webcam went live in the Scottish Borders and is streaming 24/7 on Youtube. It’s nice to watch the world go by in a small Borders’ town.
Hawick recently announced that a new Center Parcs will built just a couple of miles out of town. So it’ll be interesting to see how this might change the high street over the years
Here’s a live link to the webcam:

I like this. I knew Temple Bar in Dublin had/has one.
Can see all of the closed shops. Bit of a sad high street these days.

Seen a few crashes on them lol
I loved working in Hawick when I was doing a grid connection job for a windfarm about 15km away
Hawick has had it tough, but I honestly enjoy visiting and I say that as someone from Gala (will probably get me banned). Miss Spence’s record shop though.
Recently went to the Steve Hislop / Jimmy Guthrie exhibits at the museum in Wilton Park – highly recommend it if you’re into motorsport. Nice park too.
Oban has a couple

I like Dundee but I don’t think I’d be too eager to broadcast the city centre to anyone.
Edinburgh zoo has webcams of some of the animals.

This is amazing! I might put it on as background noise whilst I work
The Aberdeen one is handy for checking out the weather at the beach, two other views of town as well.

Both good and bad. Bad actors could use this for stalking purposes/ ex-spousal harassment etc.
Nice in concept, but scary that it could be abused.
Hawick and the surrounding countryside is absolutely beautiful! Nice to see the live cam! Love the rugby tradition of the area as well!
