Croatia has returned to the top 10 of the FIFA Men’s World Rankings following the release of the latest standings today.

After a successful June international window, which marked the start of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, Croatia has climbed one place to now sit 10th in the world.

Zlatko Dalić’s side began their campaign in style with a dominant 7-0 victory over Gibraltar, followed by an impressive 5-1 win against the Czech Republic in Osijek.

The back-to-back wins have helped Croatia regain a place among the world’s football elite in the updated FIFA rankings.

Croatia’s next match in the World Cup qualifiers will be against the Faroe Islands on 5 September.

The next edition of the FIFA Men’s World Rankings will be published on 18 September.
