Nation teams with Leicester players in there experienced defeat. Belgium, Finland and Iceland all fell to other opponents in their second game of the Euro 2025.

Wales were up against France. Hannah Cain entered the field in the 64th minute. Olivia Clark was an unused sub in the game. Wales made everyone surprised when they equalized to 1-1 in the 13th minute. 38 year old legendary midfielder, Jess Fishlock scored the goal. France was a number to heavy scoring three more goals before Cain entered the field. Score in the end, Wales 1, France 4.

Finland also had to see defeat in their second game of the tournament. Jutta Rantala came on the field in the 72nd minute of the game. The score at the time was 1-1. Finland dominated heavily, but they did not manage to stop Barcelona forward Caroline Graham Hansen, scoring a special from distance. Finland are still very much in there to go through. Winning their last group game vs. Switzerland, will see it happen.

Iceland had a difficult time when they were defeated 2-0 by home nation Switzerland. Hlin Eiriksdottir was left on the bench. Hopefully she will get minutes when Iceland today play Norway in their last group game of the tournament.

🇧🇪 Belgium are evolving — and three leaders stand at the heart of their Euro 2025 push.

Belgium will play Portugal tomorrow. They have seen defeats in their games vs. Italy and Spain. Not the easiest group for Janice Cayman and Sari Kees were both playing from start. Belgium managed to level the score twice, scoring 2-2 in the 50th minute. Spain is among the favourites to win the tournament. Belgium will play Portugal tomorrow for their final group game in the tournament.

Leicester will have a chance to get one of their players through to the knock outs. Jutta Rantala and Finland can, if they defeat Switzerland today, go through. Finland really pushed Norway to their limits. There is no reason to believe they cannot bring a win to the table against the home nation.
