Four hours by train from London, and the sea breeze hits, warm with salt. Wander from the station to the shore—little shops glint with ice stickers, fish and chips scent luring you in.

Take the Great Orme tram up; sheep dot the green slopes like confetti. At the top, the sea’s so blue it hurts. Sat on rocks with my mate, feet dangling, watching waves kiss the shore—I get why Alice dreamed here. Pure magic.

  1. It’s my job to bring the Rail 200 exhibition train to the town, I love visiting there.

  2. As someone who grew up in Llandudno who finds it all too easy to take it for granted – thankyou.

  3. These photos must have been taken the one day it was sunny in the least 400 years.
