  1. The 2025 Ukraine Recovery Conference opened today in Rome. During his speech, President Zelenskyy stated that Russia tried to undermine the spirit of the conference by launching a massive drone attack on Kyiv overnight. Russian forces launched upgraded Iranian-made Shahed drones, which are designed to inflict more damage and evade air defenses.

  4. This is so hard to imagine that we allow this to happen in 21 century. The history won’t be kind to us either, the western world, “civilized” world.

    And Ukraine needs to do this to Moscow occasionally.

  8. This man is such a strong person mentally, physically and is able to remain calm, stay on the subject and needs at hand. Many countries would beg to have Zelensky as a leader. His family misses him, he misses his family but he know how important it is to keep Putin from taking Ukarine. This Canadian knows he has the most difficult job on the planet right now. He will suffer from PTSD for his entire life and should be commended regularly so he know, the millions of people he has given hope to and secured allies in this illegal invasion by the Putin regime.

    Only 150K apiece. The rest is just bullets, which is also doable. Mass produce these units, deploy 30 around a city, add a few more layers of defense, and things should start looking much better. The great thing is that once it’s in place, Russia will have to spend far more money to attack than Ukraine just to defend, as Ukraine only needs bullets to shoot down those Shaheds. It forces disproportionate costs on Russia compared to Ukraine. Meanwhile, Ukraine should ramp up production of its own long-range drones and pay daily visits to Russian cities and the many military targets they hold. Time to turn this around.

  11. Have we just gotten to the point of passive acceptance for a country who is attacking another country? As though it’s a common place occurrence and we even start blaming the country under attack?

  12. If Ukraine cannot defend itself then there will be a time where Europe will not be able to defend itself.

  13. I’m from the uk and starmer is all talk. The Ukraine people need help now and not keep talking about the willing.. Putin clearly doesn’t want to stop and wants to take it back into Russian control and form the USSR again. My grandad had to leave Latvia just after ww2 due to the potential of Russian invasion. He left with his dad and his mum stayed. I have only recently found out she was interrogated by the KGB and then sent to hard labour camp deep in Russian. She had this treatment for speaking badly about Russians when they finally took over Latvia again she is lucky she survived. She done 5 years in camp. When she was released she tried to make contact with my grandad again, searching for him via the Red Cross etc. she never did re-kindle with my grandad and she died alone in Latvia. It’s a sad story and I just hope Russian doesn’t take Ukraine.
