  1. That’s what you get for yesterday’s assassination. Eye for an eye.

  2. It’s hard to comment on this news in accordance with the sub rules 🙂

  3. Every single Russian “commander” resembles a cross between a convict and Curly Howard, wearing the “best” in cheap TV sci-fi villain costumes. So criminal clowns playing the role of cartoonish villains. Seems totally apt.

    Good riddance to bad rubbish.

  4. Самые лучшие полковники в русской армии получаются из неандертальцев. ВСУ знает, как их утилизировать🇺🇦

  5. Russian Colonel Sergeyship Yuryevich Ilin go fuck yourself.

  6. Good. Every one of these war criminals will find justice one way or another.

  7. Applauses and congrats, Sergey! Job well done 😊

  8. There’s a special place in hell reserved for these scumbags.Slava Ukraine.

  9. The Russian [155th “guard” naval infantry brigade](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/155th_Guards_Naval_Infantry_Brigade) is a shell of support units that is used to assemble infantry btls from newly sourced contract soldiers which are then thrown into battle until their combat effectiveness is depleted while the next btls are formed, rinse and repeat.

Due to the fast deployment cycle of new recruits, the brg has lost their inventory in soldiers several times over in various deployments to Chernihiv, Vuhledar and Kursk. Due to this, the unit has also “evolved” from well-trained heavy infantry with a large armored support element (*T-80 MBT, BMP-3, rocket and barrel artillery…*) to (*motorized*) ill-trained light infantry.

The brigade is notorious the involvement with war crimes, including the [Olenivka prison massacre](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olenivka_prison_massacre). The display of decapitated heads of Ukrainian POWs stuck on poles has become their signature atrocity ([link](https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidaxe/2024/10/14/days-after-russian-marines-murdered-nine-ukrainian-prisoners-ukrainian-paratroopers-are-looking-for-revenge-and-finding-it/)), the unit is generally regarded as outperforming in the field of war criming, even compared to other Russian naval inf brg that each have their own histories of war atrocities.

Apart from Sergey Ilyin, the former commander of the 155th, major general [Mikhail Gudkov](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikhail_Gudkov), has also been killed in a missile strike on July 3rd.
