Maccabi Tel Aviv is interested in bringing in John Brown, who played for Crvena Zvezda last season, reports Walla Sport.
Maccabi Tel Aviv has already parted ways with Jasiel Rivero, and it is expected they will soon do the same with Trevion Williams, so Brown would come as one of the replacements for the two.
John Brown joined Crvena Zvezda last season in mid-December, returning to the court after a severe shoulder injury.
In the EuroLeague, he played 17 games for the Red and Whites, averaging 4 points and 2.6 rebounds. In the ABA League, he appeared in 20 games, averaging 5.5 points and 3 rebounds.
What has secured him a spot in the EuroLeague all these years is his excellent defense. Before Crvena Zvezda, he also played for Monaco, Brescia, Unics, Brindisi, Treviso, and Virtus Roma.
So far, Maccabi Tel Aviv has brought in only two players: T.J. Leaf and Gur Lavy.
